What NOT to Wear for Family Photos
What NOT to Wear for Family Photos. Are you ready for this? Because my friend, I have put so many photo outfit color scheme ideas out into the world. I am ready to put what to avoid when choosing your outfits for family pictures! I’m going to tell you the down and dirty and honest truths about what and why to avoid below!
Please avoid these!
Logos. You will distract from everything actually important in the photos!! People will be looking at the shirt you wore instead of the faces and people. Also, no. I don’t want to edit a logo out of every single photo you’re in.. thank you!
Mixing too many patterns is distracting and hard to look at. I love the depth that patterns can bring, truly. It’s awesome to choose a couple to mix! But please don’t choose plaid And stripes And polka dots And floral! Just craziness.
Any guesses on why you should avoid reds and pinks?? They reflect onto your skin and mess with your skin tones. This can make editing and getting the skin tones just right SO hard!
I want you to be you and feel comfortable, but please avoid wearing your colorful sneakers just long enough for your phot session. Again, they are so distracting.
Lastly, too matchy matchy is just.. not.. I don’t even know! You will all blend together, there will be no depth to your outfits, and your session may just turn into some awkward family photos. If you need help choosing outfits for your photos, please ask me for help before purchasing matching outfits!!
