Utah Family Photographer – Gilbert Family. I was so lucky to have the chance to shoot this session. My brother’s best friend all growing up married into this sweet family. His brother in law, like so many, was sent home from his mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints due to COVID-19. He was able to meet his brand new nephew due to being sent home, and we were able to do these family photos before he was reassigned to a different mission in the United States. Sometimes tender mercies come from truly crazy, awful times.
