Tibble Fork Extended Family – Oh the Johnson family. Are you ready for this story? We had quite the adventure getting this session to happen! Picture this: thirty-seven week pregnant Shaunie driving out to the Salt Flatts for a session. Snacks, beverages, bathroom breaks, watching videos about laboring advice.
Suddenly, 30 minutes from the destination, she gets a phone call. One of the vehicles that the Johnson family is driving out to the Salt Flatts has broken down. This same vehicle had all of the sister’s belongings, because immediately following the family’s photo session, they are continuing on to California to drop her off at college.
The family moves all of the belongings to the other vehicle. She continues to California, and the others head back to get dad’s truck to bring back to tow. That’s a lot of driving folks!! Man. It was so crappy that we didn’t get to shoot their session that evening! But can I just say, it was totally worth the wait! The ten month wait!
