Little Cottonwood Canyon Extended Family – Castaneda. First time trying to shoot an extended family up at Albion Basin! We made it work! We definitely had to use two different spots up at Albion and carpool as much as possible, but they turned out pretty.
The first spot has a bunch of parking, so I wasn’t too worried about it. But guess what was randomly happening that same night?? A proposal with everyone and their dog and mom and aunt! Ok that was dramatic, but man I had to ask that group for permission to park our cars right behind their parked cars for ten minutes. It was crazy!

Isn’t my friend so stinking pretty?? And her darling kiddos! Fun fact, her little boy wanted Nothing to do with me the last time I took their photos. We totally got him to feel comfortable this time around and got all the smiles! I was pumped! Fun fact, my friend didn’t have to change her last name when she got married because her now husband had the exact same last name. I wonder how rare that is!
