Herriman Fall Family Photos – Geertsen. This location has become a favorite of mine, and it was absolutely perfect for an adventure with this beautiful family! I love, love the mountains that Utah provides as a stunning backdrop for so many family photo sessions. Neutral is also finding a place in my heart though! This field is an amazing example of how a neutral backdrop can help the focus stay on the family in the images. Another great example of a neutral location is Saltair! It provides a huge stance of salty beach to run around on and get fun family shots.

Can you handle how amazing they look? Such a perfect fall theme that gives me all the pumpkin and spices feels!

Speaking of, I’m curious thoughts on pumpkin spice hot chocolate?? I’m not the biggest fan.. Which is funny, because I am SUCH a hot chocolate girl. I think I would have to choose Abuelita’s hot chocolate as a favorite (and it comes in a powder now!), but only because the salted caramel hot chocolate at Starbucks is so dang expensive..
